      <image:caption>For the last fifteen years he has worked as a leadership development consultant and coach with some of the most well known brands in the world, including, HSBC, PepsiCo, Tesco, BP, Roche, EBay, Airbus, The Metropolitan Police, Deloitte, Allen &amp; Overy, Mars, Unilever, Uber, Manchester City Football club, Soho House &amp; Co, Santander, Marks &amp; Spencer and Amazon. In Charlie’s live events and webinars he draws upon his rich life experience and combines this with cutting edge research from science and psychology to give them tools and techniques that they can act upon immediately that will catalyse their performance and well-being. Prior to working in business Charlie was a successful health and fitness coach, where at one point he was training an Oscar winning actor and actress. What he observed, was that most of his clients were busy, time poor, stressed and burnt out executives who wanted to increase their energy and manage stress better. This concerned him. His passion for helping people build resilience stems from not just working with all these stressed out executives, but also his own story in not becoming the professional sportsman he had dreamed of being, due to struggling to be at his best when it counted. And, perhaps more tellingly, he knows first-hand what it takes to recover from a near death experience that left him hospitalised and his sister moments away from dying. At 21 he was involved in a traumatic car accident with his sister who almost died. This incident eventually inspired his research into resilience and overcoming adversity. Charlie played rugby for England, West of England hockey and county cricket as a school-boy, but he struggled to perform under pressure, which has showed him the importance of developing a growth mindset and building mental toughness.</image:caption>

Early in his career Matthew recognised the need to develop a more holistic approach which fundamentally understands that we can not separate work-life and personal-life. As we can’t selectively separate or compartmentalise our emotions, feelings, values and needs Matthew believe that if we really wish to develop and support teams and individuals to be at their best then we also need to address the underlying issues that form negative and unconscious patterns and behaviours which then play out in the work place and in our relationships. This understanding led Matthew to embark on a personal journey of self-discovery and learning which spanned a 20 year period and covered many trainings, groups and courses in the fields of personal development, counselling and coaching. For the last 10 years Matthew has been facilitating groups and retreats in the UK and Europe as a qualified Holistic counsellor and Mental Health First Aider. Matthew is currently studying towards his PGCert in Leadership Coaching and his MA in Psychosynthesis. As a very keen and competitive sailor, he splits his time living between the UK and Palma de Mallorca and competes regularly on the super yacht regatta circuit.</image:caption>
